Day Number Five:

Today was probably one of the worst days to be late to school. I was supposed to have a dentist appointment on the 28th, but I received a text yesterday which was a reminder for my dentist appointment at 8:45 on May 22nd. I was really upset because my dentist appointment wasn't just a checkup either. They were actually doing hard work on my teeth today. All I could think was, "Of course.". I ended up leaving the dentist at 10:30. I had no idea where I was supposed to go to meet with a group to actually complete the days activities. So, my dad and I were just guessing where I was supposed to get dropped off. Luckily, we figured out where to go and there was a group sitting down when I pulled up so I just joined them. My entire mouth was sore and the whole right side of my face was drooped due to a numbing shot I had received. All I really did was look at the animals and go sit at the benches next to the bus because by the time I got there, the group had already done a lot of stuff for their journals, but I didn't have one. So in all, today was just a very inconvenient day to have a dentist appointment and be later. I didn't get to swim, which I was looking forward to. I didn't really eat because I couldn't chew and I couldn't really talk because my mouth hurt so much. Today wasn't a very good day for me, but I bet if i had gotten there on time, then it would've been way more pleasant.
