Today was the day where we had people visit from the City of Dayton Water Plant. It was really interesting to learn about where the rain water goes and how we can keep our watershed clean. There were 5 stations. If I'm being honest, it was kind of hard to focus on what the outside station people were talking about because it was really cold. other than that I learned about what a watershed is, where our trash collects and how it affects other county's. Water is important to literally almost everything to survival, so anything I can do to keep it safe is nice to know.
This is the river, long and flowing. These are the fish, colorful and scaly. This is the river, long and flowing. This is the sand, wet and grainy. These are the fish, colorful and scaly. This is the river, long and flowing. This is the creek, tumbling and calming. This is the sand, wet and grainy. These are the fish, colorful and scaly. This is the river, long and flowing. These are the roads, guiding and long. This is the creek, tumbling and calming. This is the sand, wet and grainy. These are the fish, colorful and scaly. This is the river, long and flowing. These are the hills, green and rolling. These are the roads, guiding and long. This is the creek, tumbling and calming. This is the sand, wet and grainy. These are the fish, colorful and scaly. This is the river, long and flowing. These are the rocks, hard and rough. These are the hills, green and rolling. These are the roads, guiding and long. This is the creek, tumbling and calming. This is the sand, wet and grainy. These are the fish, colorful and scaly. This is the river, long and flowing. This is the mountain, bold and unmoving. These are the rocks, hard and rough. These are the hills, green and rolling. These are the roads, guiding and long. This is the creek, tumbling and calming. This is the sand, wet and grainy. These are the fish, colorful and scaly. This is the river, long and flowing. This is the rain, refreshing and tranquil. -Group poem (Nate, Mackenzie, Maddie, Kaylee, Jaiden, and Hailey)
