Today we walked to Delco Park. The walk itself was already really fun beacuse we played good music and just made fun of the walk. When we got there, Rob Boley, author of horror fiction, came and explained how he's involved with nature. He gave us a few activities to do involving sitting for 20 minutes in solitude and coming up with metaphors that had to do with what we saw.

Some of the metaphors I came up with:

-"The cotton moves with the wind like a flowing river."

-"Rocks hit the water with a clap so graceful that it glides with the movement of water creating its own path."

"The wind intertwines the grass, chaining them."

Today's activity was to occupy a square foot of grass and observe it. I noticed small ants crawling on leaves that were buried in the grass. When they wind blew, the grass rippled and altered the ants course of direction. There was one flower that stood taller than the rest of the grass.

After we finished our activities, we went to the volleyball court and started playing volleyball. After we did that for about 30 minutes, we went back to the pavilion and to eat. We played a vocabulary game while we ate. After we ate, we started to go back to the volleyball court because we had about 30 minutes left. Kaylee and I went back to the bags and then we went on our walk back to the school. It was really funny because we got cars to honk at us and we started counted. we got 18 cars to honk at us. Then, Quinton started playing good music on his loud speaker. Today was the last field trip but it was a good one.
